Your first visit includes a thorough review of your health history, digestion, hormones, thyroid function, sleep, mood, stress physiology, lifestyle factors, and previous lab results. You will receive a detailed, personalized treatment plan within 1–2 business days.

Before Your Initial Visit

Your intake form will be emailed to you using the email address you provide during booking. Please complete it as thoroughly as possible—the more detail you provide, the better prepared I can be for your visit.

Older results are still valuable because they help identify trends over time, avoid duplicate testing, and provide a clearer, more complete assessment.
If you use an online lab portal (e.g., LifeLabs), you can download your results as PDFs and email them in advance. You can also contact your healthcare provider’s office to request copies of past bloodwork or testing. (Some clinics may charge a small administrative fee.) Preparing this information beforehand allows us to make the most of your first visit and contributes to a more accurate, personalized treatment plan.
Included With All Initial Visits: Complimentary 15-Minute Treatment Plan Review Call
Every new patient receives a 15-minute follow-up phone call, included in the initial visit fee. This call is scheduled during your first appointment for a time shortly after you receive your treatment plan. Because your first visit is comprehensive (usually 1.5+ hours), your personalized treatment plan is equally detailed. Most patients prefer to read through their plan on their own first, then use this brief call to ask questions and ensure everything is clear.
During this call, we will:
review your treatment plan together
clarify steps, timelines, and dosing
confirm what to begin first
ensure the plan feels realistic and manageable
prevent any confusion around supplements
release Fullscript supplement recommendations (via email) after the call so everything aligns so you can place your order
This step significantly improves clarity, confidence, and long-term success with your treatment plan.
Booking & Deposit Policy
Credit card required
A credit card is required to reserve any appointment, initial visits and follow-ups.
$50 deposit for initial visits
A $50 deposit is required for all new patient initial visits. This deposit is applied toward the cost of your first appointment. I spend time preparing before we meet, including reviewing your intake form and summarizing any bloodwork you send. This preparation occurs even if a visit is cancelled last-minute, which is why a deposit is required for new patients. While late cancellations and no-shows are rare, having this policy in place helps protect that preparation time and ensures appointment spaces are used for patients who need them.
Follow-ups
Do not require a deposit, but still require a credit card to secure the booking.
Cancellation & Rescheduling Policy
If you need to cancel or reschedule your appointment, please contact Lalaine at support@whitestonewellness.ca.
We kindly ask for at least 24 hours’ notice and whenever possible, more so we can offer your appointment time to another patient who may be waiting. Your visit time is reserved specifically for you, and preparation occurs ahead of each appointment, including chart review and treatment planning. If an appointment is missed or cancelled with less than 24 hours’ notice, a $50 fee will be charged to the card on file, no exceptions. This fee helps cover the time already spent preparing for your visit, as well as the lost appointment time that could have been offered to another patient. Thank you for helping us maintain timely, efficient, and equitable access to care.
Inclement Weather Policy (for In-Person Visits)
If poor weather makes travel unsafe, your in-person appointment will simply be shifted to a virtual or phone visit for the same scheduled time. Lalaine will notify you if weather conditions require this change. If you prefer to proactively switch to virtual due to weather concerns, you’re welcome to email her at support@whitestonewellness.ca.
This ensures your care continues uninterrupted and that no appointment time is lost.
Technology or Connection Issues (for Virtual Visits)
If you are scheduled for a video visit and experience technical difficulties (e.g., internet outage, unstable connection), we will simply shift your appointment to a phone call at the same time. Care continues without interruption, and there is no need to reschedule.
